Then and Now

The right hand half of this picture shows Royal Hudson 2860 during its earlier career with the Canadian Pacific Railway, 1940 to 1956.  In the left half of the picture, many years later, the same engine approaches BC Rail's North Vancouver station on the return leg of one of its many Squamish excursions.  Restored and now maintained by BC Rail, the Hudson shows no sign of its advanced age.
