Recently retired as a professor of art at Brigham Young University for over 20 years. Christensen continues to be a "Professor of Imagination." |

Jim has recently been honored with a commission from the LDS church to paint a mural in its new Salt Lake City conference center. Jim's 9' X 33' painting will celebrate the Arts and Spirit. |

Christensen has also been commissioned to create the 40th anniversary poster art for the 2001 Utah Shakespearean Festival. |
 
|
|
He believes that teaching people to use their imagination helps us find solutions to soothe the stresses of every day life - or get a little lift to help us keep going. |
