Betty Sager , Stone and Wood Sculptor
Betty Sager is an Abbotsford sculptor who developed her skills through wood carving competitions in Canada and the US; along the way she won numerous awards. She loves the personal journey of discovery in creating fine art and her sculptures can best be described as free-flowing where the negative space give the positive space movement and interest. In her words: "Sculpting gives the age- old stone a chance to be glorious and the center of attention. I see the world as a beautiful place. The idea is to create something that may bring someone a smile or that warm feeling of joy.
