Upcoming Art Shows: Fall 2007

Max Jacquiard: Saturday Oct 13, Sunday Oct 14 at Heritage Park, Chilliwack

Max Jacquiard, the "painter of steam trains" will be at the Charisma Gallery Booth at the Mount Cheam Lion's Club Annual Model Railway and Hobby Show in Chilliwack this October.  We had a booth there last year and were amazed at the number  who attended - [over 4,000]  and at their level of skill, commitment and enthusiasm. Model railroaders came from across Western Canada and the U.S. 

Max was a huge hit and was constantly busy signing cards, artworks or answering questions from admirers and collectors. This is the 10th annual event and will run Saturday October 13, 2007 from 9am to 5pm and Sunday October 14, 2007 from 10am to 4pm.

The event will be held at Heritage Park, 44140 Luckakuck Way, Chilliwack. Take exit #116 if you are coming along the freeway. Also note that it is a fundraiser, tickets are $5 for Adults, $12 for Families, $3 for Seniors and Students. Children under 6 are free when accompanied by an adult. This event is perfect for families with young children, railway buffs or Max fans: we will have a large display of  his current and past work.

Will Allister: Saturday October 27, 2007 1:30pm to 5pm at Charisma Gallery

Will Allister will be making another appearance at Charisma Gallery on Saturday October 27.  

At 88, Mr. Allister still paints daily and maintains a strict physical regimen that allows him to continue to create bold original work. 

 In the past year, he has had shows in Vancouver and Calgary and we believe that his work is still of the same high caliber as always.

Saturday October 27 is your opportunity to meet artist, writer and a great creative spirit, William Allister.  

24th Anniversary Show: Saturday November 24, 2007 1pm to 5pm at Charisma Gallery

This will be a combination group show featuring some of Charisma Gallery's artists and a celebration of 24 years in business.  That's right, Charisma Gallery has been in business 24 years and we invite all customers past and present to drop in to say hello.

We will also be featuring Hong Zhu, gallery staffer and artist who paints on glass, woodturner George Berkenpas  and sculptor Betty Sager.
