The Patullo Bridge rises out of the dissipating fog in this autumn morning scene along New Westminster's Front Street. A short distance away, a freight train from Port Coquitlam shares the riverbank with an eastbound car while "Samson V" is about to cross through the swing span of the railway bridge. Long since retired, this vessel can be visited at its home next to Westminster Quay.
